The Lundar Museum will see a few new upgrades this year. RM of Coldwell Reeve Brian Sigfusson says while much has already been done, they are still working on a couple of things.

"Well, we've done quite a lot of extensive repairs on the building," says Sigfussen. "We have a bit more to do. We did some work out front and on the inside of the building. This year we're going to be doing some electrical work on the inside. It's coming along quite well."

Sigfusson notes they have already done major work on the foundation.

"We've probably put about $25,000 or so into it," says Sigfusson. "It's the old station house and they've even put a new foundation under it which was sorely needed. If that hadn't been done it wouldn't have been very long before we may as well have gotten rid of it. It's the first station that was built when the train came to Lundar."
