**UPDATED**

Things are improving on the highways in southern Manitoba this morning.

Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation tells us the Trans Canada Highway between Winnipeg and Carberry is now bare.

Highway 26 is still partly snow-covered.

Highway 16 has a mix of bare and partly snow-covered conditions.

Highway 2 is bare from Winnipeg to Holland, where it changes to snow-covered. Highway 3 is bare from Winnipeg to Cartwright.

In the Interlake, Highway 6 is bare to the Highway 67 junction, then turns to snow-covered and partly snow-covered. Highways 7, 8, and 9 are a mix of bare and partly snow-covered conditions.
