It's I Love To Read month and grade five students at Westpark School are excited.

Wyatt Kasto, Zoe Klassen and Elizabeth PaetzoldZoe Klassen shares what she enjoys about the theme. "I like to dress up as my favourite book character (part of the month's initial activities)," she explains. "Princess Academy is a series of chapter books." All in all, she describes the month of activities as, "...it's pretty exciting. We do lots of stuff."

Wyatt Kasto explains what he enjoys most about the month. "I get to read all the time because I like reading." He explains his favourite kind of books are...  " ...really thick chapter books -- mystery books. Just really long books in general."

Elizabeth Paetzold's another student who also enjoys dressing up as her book character. She adds she likes reading books about horses, like the Phantom Stallion, noting reading helps you learn bigger words you haven't used before.
