Holiday classics never seem to disappoint.

From Winter Wonderland, to White Christmas, to Jingle Bells: Bert Wytinck and family played a wide selection of Christmas classics to a sold out William Glesby Centre in Portage la Prairie last night.

Glesby Centre executive director Carolyn Gray says the evening went well, and credits the performers for creating a relaxed, cozy atmosphere.

"They're absolutely beautiful," Gray says. "I spent the afternoon with the (band) as they were setting up. Their harmonies are gorgeous."

"They're just a wonderful family of musicians and singers, and really have a great connection and sound."

Gray adds, she could see the crowd enjoyed the soft Christmas melodies Bert Wytinck and family strummed out.

"There's some coziness, there's some loving going on, there's a lot of laughter," Gray says playfully. "A lot of Christmas emotions are coming out. I saw people hugging, I saw people kissing ... people could hardly wait to come and party with us for Christmas."
