A shed at a residence on Crescent Road in Portage la Prairie was destroyed in an early morning fire. Firefighters were called just after four o'clock this morning to the blaze, which occurred on the 1100 block of Crescent Road.

While there were no injuries as a result of the fire, the structure received extensive damage. The cause of the blaze in unknown at this time.
