It's the Christmas Concert season and Ecole Crescentview School in Portage la Prairie put on a show for a packed house today.

Ecole Crescentview School students performed for hundreds of excited parents and family members. It took a lot of practice to be ready. "The kids start usually toward the end of November," says Vice Principal Paula Neill. "We've had a lot of practices and dress rehearsals, one dress rehearsal today too."

Grade 2 student Kaydance Starr says what her favourite part of the Christmas Concert is she got to sing and be proud of herself. She says they wore bells to help out with their show. "We had to wear special bells because my teacher isn't that good with the hand parts (choreography)," says Starr.

Neill adds the concerts keep the school buzzing all the way up to the holidays.
