"And as I was setting up dealers in different parts of Western Canada, I noticed there was a market that was being missed out for short line farm equipment. And so I realized there was an opportunity here to start a business representing companies like Salford, and other companies as I go."

He says their focus will be on short line farm equipment, and explains what that means.

"Everybody knows all the main line farm equipment, but what they're missing is there's another sect of start-up companies that are usually started by farmers, that they start manufacturing on their own, and then they grow the company, but they're not big enough to have their own dealers. So I would be a candidate for representing a whole bunch of them in order run a full business."

Faurschou outlines his vision for the new business over the next few years.

"Since I'm starting up the business in the location I'm at right now, I can't have my inventory here, but I'm lucky I that I have land along the highway, where all my inventory will sit. And so this store will be mainly parts and sales to just get the business going until we can move to the next stage of building our own building, and having on-site service."
