An accident occurred just before 1:00 p.m. in Portage la Prairie in the intersection at the entrance of the Canad Inns, at Saskatchewan Ave. W. and 24th St W. EMS was on the scene and fire truck and RCMP arrived shortly later at about 1:00 p.m.  A white pickup was involved as well as an SUV. Roadway was cleared by 1:30 p.m. No further details are available at this time.
