Traffic is being rerouted around the corner of 3rd St. NE and 5th Ave. in Portage la Prairie.  

It's a private endeavour and Andy Taylor with Cobbe's Plumbing and Heating says, "We're replacing a lead line for the apartment block at 426 3rd Street NE, and repairing a sewer line where it comes out of the building. The street is open right now, closed down tomorrow, and fully back in operation tomorrow night."

He adds it's a private situation, the work needed to be done, and that's what they're doing.
