Central Plains Capitals' Left Winger Max Neill's went 184th overall to the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the Western Hockey League's Bantam Draft. Neill outlines how it felts to make the cut.

"I was just fortunate it happened. I was just waiting to see if I would get called basically, and I saw it and I was just really happy for the opportunity."

Neill played 49 games for the Caps in the 2015-16 season, scoring 16 goals and 25 assists along the way. Neill talks about his time with the club so far.

Neill

"I think we're a pretty good team. We did well this year, and we got to compete against the best teams, so it really helped my game and stuff like that to get ready for the draft. I'm happy for my teammates that got drafted too."

Neill's shooting for AAA Midget next season, and hopefully beyond.

"My next step is to make the Provincial Midget team, and after that maybe make Lethbridge in a year, two or three years hopefully."
