The WC Miller Aces are the Zone 4 Curling representatives for this years high school Provincial Championships.

The Zone 4 Curling Step 2 Playdowns were this weekend at the Portage Curling Club, and things didn't fair too well for the PCI Curling Program. PCI had 5 teams entered to the 16 team tournament and PCI Curling Head Coach Lisa Shackleton says it was a new experience for a lot of their curlers.

"I think the weekend was a good weekend overall. There was a lot of good feedback, a lot of very good curling, and in terms of our Zone 4 curlers from PCI... I think they're eyes were open to a whole new level of competition. So I think they know what to work forward to in terms of training for next year."

PCI Skip Madison Lambert was eliminated from the tournament early and talks about her experience.

"We struggled in the first couple of ends to make the shots where we wanted them, so they managed to out score us and then we were able to pick it up a little bit. I'm just proud at how my team did this year, although it's not the end we wanted, I'm still happy at how it went down."

The WC Miller Aces will represent Zone 4 on both the boy's side and the girl's.
