The PCI Trojans are the West Winnipeg Athletic Conference Soccer Tier 2 Boys Champions! The Trojans beat the John Taylor Pipers this afternoon in Winnipeg by a score of 2-1 to capture the title.

The Trojans fell behind early, allowing a goal less than 5 minutes into the game. PCI midfielder Connor Green say the boys seemed to wake up after the early goal.

"It didn't start off in our favour. They scored in the first few minutes off of a cross because none of our players went up to challenge it and the Pipers were able to tap it in. After that, we picked up our socks because we knew it was going to be a tough game."

The Trojans answered back just 15 minutes later on a goal from Carson Tunski. The game would stay tied 1-1 until the final minute of the game, when Trojans' Daylan Green scored to give PCI the win.

Connor Green says it was a good season for the team.

"Our team played very well all year. We were striking the ball well, and playing great defence and our goalie was very good too, especially in the final game, he kept us in it. Overall, I think the season was a success for us."
