A ticket to the Winnipeg High School Football League Final is on the line tonight.

The PCI Trojans take on the Elmwood Giants tonight at Investors Group Field for the WHSFL's Currie/Vidruk Semi-Final. It's been a while since PCI's made it this far in the playoffs, losing the last few years in the quarterfinals. Club Administrator Mark Dibol says they're in their 10th year and haven't looked this good since their second.

"We went 10-0. We ended up going all the way and winning it all, but the next two years after that we had chances at winning it all again and we just didn't finish it off with the big win at the end."

The Trojans won their first ever home playoff game last week over St. Norbert, after out-of-Winnipeg playoff games were enacted a couple years ago. Dibol says it's turned into something bigger than just student pride for the team.

"Not only the school but the whole community is behind us. Everybody's excited, it's like football fever going around so I know we'll have a good crowd there. Hopefully, we won't let them down."

The games at 7:30 tonight at IGF in Winnipeg.
