The PCI Trojans are the Manitoba High School Field Lacrosse League Consolation Champions.

The Trojans needed to win both of Sunday's games to capture the Consolation Title, and the day started off with a bitter sweet win. Trojans' Head Coach Al Patterson explains.

"Tuelon, who was our opposition, didn't field enough players. So we ended up winning that game by default, but we still played a bit of a mini scrimmage."

The Trojans then went on to defeat Miles Mac 7-4 to win the Bronze. Patterson says Grade 12 Midfielder Tyson Dyck was a catalyst for the victory.

"He led the way with the first 3 goals to put us up 3-nothing right away. We had a very good start, I think they got caught sleeping a little bit."

Patterson's thrilled with the season they had, and gives a lot of the credit to his graduating players.

Gradauting players

"Jaggar Barrault, who stuck it out and played for us for 4 years. Guys like Cole Hannah and Tyler Grantham, neither one of those guys are real big guys, but boy... they're certainly pretty dominating when it comes to the field of play and their ability."
