The PCI Trojans resume their Zone 4 High School Hockey League season tonight in Portage la Prairie. They host CNMPM Tigers at the PCU Centre.

The Trojans' last win came over the Tigers before the Christmas break, and head coach Chris DeLong says they can do it again if they come ready to work for it.

"We had a high-tempo practice last night to see where the boys were in terms of conditioning, but mentally, we should be ready to go," says DeLong. "This is a team that we're above and we beat right before the break. A win against them would create a little distance between us, and the fourth spot is very attainable for us right now."

The Trojans had many strong areas of play before the break that DeLong hopes will continue into the New Year. "One of those things is goaltending," says DeLong. "It's the top of the league and I'm expecting that high level of goaltending will carry on. That and discipline are keeping us in games, and our work ethic. The boys are starting to realize that we can make some ground up here."

The Trojans and Tigers face off at 7:30 p.m. at the PCU Centre.
