The PCI Trojans host the first place Prairie Mountain Mustangs tonight in Zone 4 High School Hockey.

PCI's presently ranked second place with 28 points, 6 points back of the undefeated Mustangs. Trojans' Head Coach Mark Essay says they've had tonight marked on the calendar for a while.

"I think this is our test. We've been building over the past few weeks, we've been undefeated since our gong show at the Christmas Classic. I think the guys are ready, playoffs is where it matters, and this game really doesn't matter in terms of standings too much, but it matters in terms of sending a message to the rest of the league that we're a contender for the title."

The Mustangs have a few players in the top 10 point scorers this season, which Essay's well aware of.

"Absolutely... But we do too, and I think the boys are ready to show everyone that this is our season."

The Trojans and Mustangs go at 7:45 p.m. at the PCU Centre.
