Tonight's game has been postponed due to wet field conditions. There hasn't been a make-up game set yet, and the Blaze are in Kenora for a Tournament this weekend.

The Portage Blaze host the Stan Kerns in Winnipeg Women's Soccer League action at Rotary Republic Park tonight.

The Blaze have only managed 1 win this season, which came in the form of a default against Maniko early in the season. Blaze's Head Coach Bryan Mintenko says things haven't been going too well, and they're hoping to turn it around.

"We're getting some progress here or there. There's just been some tough games this season, so we're hoping to get things back on track. Especially with the tournament coming up in Kenora."

One thing the Blaze have struggled with is their roster. Mintenko hopes for a couple extra bodies tonight.

"We may have 11, so no subs. I'm working on bringing a guest player to have 1 sub. It's been tough with the numbers this season, but as long as we get everyone out -- the same consistent players each time -- we can build more chemistry."

The Blaze and The Stan Kerns go at 7:30 p.m.
