The Portage Terriers picked up a commanding 6-2 win last night over the visiting Neepawa Natives. Terrier forward Nick Henry found himself back in the lineup after being out with injury since January 8th. He had an immediate impact, setting up Brad Bowles half way through the first period. 5 minutes later Jeremey Leipsic made a nice move and handed reigning MJHL Recycle Everywhere player of the week Chase Brakel a wide open net to which he made no mistake. Henry would get his first of the night before the end of the period as he tapped home a loose puck in front of the net.

Penalty trouble for the Terriers slowed down the start of the second period. Jeremey Leipsic would pick up his second point of the night at the end of the period when he finished off a nice pass from Brad Bowles  on the power play. After two periods the Terriers were outshooting the Natives 27-10.
