We know when, but we don't know who. The Portage Terriers will open up the MJHL League Final this Friday night on home ice at the PCU Centre. Their opponent? That's still up in the air. It will be either the Winkler Flyers or the Steinbach Pistons and we'll find out who tonight. After winning in Winkler last night, Steinbach has a chance to complete the comeback with a home ice win this evening. The Flyers were up 3-1 in the series but now face a winner take all game on the road. Excitement is high in Winkler - the team hasn't been in the final since 2002 and the last time they won the league was 1998. Steinbach on the other hand met Portage in the final last year. Terrier Head Coach and GM Blake Spiller has already said it doesn't matter to him who wins - he knows they are both very skilled.

The Terriers coaching staff took in Games 5 and 6 and will once again be scouting tonight. The players meanwhile continue to practice hard while healing up some bumps and bruises from the last round. Kain Stevenson has missed the last month and word is that he has started to skate. Although he may not be ready for Friday, there is certainly a chance he will appear in the finals at some point. Tickets for Friday's game are already on sale at the PCU Centre Box Office.

The other Western Canadian Leagues are also in their semi-finals. In Saskatchewan, Flin Flon leads North Battleford 2-1. The Battleford's won last night and they'll play again in Flin Flon tonight. Melfort beat Nipawin last night and now leads that series 2-1.

In Alberta, defending champions Spruce Grove are up 3-0 on Lloydminster, the team who will host the RBC this year. Brooks has a 3-0 lead on Camrose. Should Spruce Grove and Brooks win, it would be a rematch in the league final from last year.

In B.C, the semi final is a three team round robin and those teams are West Kelowna, Chilliwack and Nanaimo.
