The Portage Terriers are in Dauphin for a rematch with the Kings tonight in one of four MJHL games on the docket.

The Terriers fell 4-2 to the Kings Wednesday night at the PCU Centre in a game that saw them dress 2 forwards as defensemen, and only start 10 guys up front. Forward-turned-defenseman Kelby Picard says they just need to be better despite the short bench.

"I think we need to play a bit hard. (Wednesday) was a tough game, I know we were shorthanded quite a bit, so hopefully we'll get some guys back in the line-up and be better."

Portage completely dominated the Kings in the first period, outshooting them 15-4. The Kings push-back didn't happen until the second period, and defeseman Cody Thompson expects them to be even better from the start.

"They'll come out full of energy. They're quick, smart with the puck, and get a lot of shots on net. We've just got to shut them down defensively and hope for the best."

The Terriers and Kings go at 7:30 in Dauphin. Other games tonight include Virden in Winnipeg at 7, OCN's visiting Steinbach at 7:30, and the Flyers welcome Swan Valley at 7:30 as well.
