The Portage Terriers are on the ice tonight for MJHL action in Virden.

It's been a while since the dogs and Oil Caps faced off, with Portage winning both games of a home and home to start the regular season. The dogs won by 4 goals in the first, and 3 in the second. Forward Ryan Sokoloski says they can't base their play off those two games.

"We played them in our first two opening games, and we beat them pretty good, but it's not like we can take them lightly. That's really it."

The Oil Caps are only 2 points back of the Terriers in 5th place, and undefeated in regulation in November. Virden played Thursday in Dauphin, while the Terriers are coming off a 4-1 loss to Winkler Wednesday night.

Tonight's game goes at 7:30 in Virden.
