The Portage Terriers can advance to the Manitoba Junior Hockey League Semi-final with a win tonight.

They welcome Selkirk for Game 6 of their best-of-seven Quarter-final series. The Terriers are up 3-2 after winning with a shutout Friday night in Selkirk.

"I thought we had jump early in that game," says Blake Spiller, Terriers head coach. "We got solid goaltending from Chapman, and I thought we came with more of purpose to get the job done. There were a couple of times where we were a little bit undisciplined and we'll need to clean that up going forward here. I thought we did a good job of controlling Selkirk's offensive weapons too."

The Terriers' penalty kill has continued to improve throughout the series and has only allowed one goal in the last 11 times shorthanded.

"I thought we were really solid on the penalty kill (last game)," admits Spiller. "The four-minute one could've been bad news for us but we found a way to control their weapons and get pucks down the ice. I thought we did well on the couple powerplay chances we had in (Game 5), we only scored on one but I thought we really moved the puck around well."

Puck drop is 7:30 at Stride Place. Catch the game on CFRY and at Portage Online with the pre-game show starting at 7:20.

The Steinbach Pistons can move on to the MJHL Semi-final with a win over Neepawa tonight. They lead the best-of-seven series 3-2. Puck drop for that game is 7:30 in Neepawa.
