The Dogs can take a stranglehold over the Pistons with a win tonight in Portage. It's Game 4 between the Portage Terriers and Steinbach Pistons, with the Terriers leading the Manitoba Junior Hockey League best-of-seven Semi-final 2-1.

The Terriers managed to come back from down 2-1 in Game 3 to tie, and win, the game in the final minutes of the game. Terriers' assistant coach Paul Harland says they had ample chances to get a few more goals earlier on.

"I think we passed up on some opportunities on some 2-on-1's where we had some guys open and we elected to shoot. If we can move the puck in those situations and get a better scoring chance I think we could've had a couple (more) goals. In the third everything kind of unfolded and we were able to get the goalie pulled, get some guys in front to screen, and Ty Enns let one rip and it found its way in to tie it. The winning goal, (Steinbach) came too hard on a pinch and we chipped it out of our zone for a 3-on-1 and Takato Cox buried it. Two quick goals like that to win the game was great for us and hopefully with that, and the triple overtime win, we've gained a little bit of momentum in the series."

Harland feels they've been putting out a good effort through the series and wants to see it continue tonight.

"Our forecheck has been good, neutral zone too, but our defensive zone we could tighten up a little bit on some coverage. We want to make sure we forecheck hard, and if we're competing and battling we like our chances in the series, but so do they. So whoever is coming to play and working hard to get the bounces is going to have a good chance tonight."

Puck drop is set for 7:30 at Stride Place. You can catch the game on CFRY and at Portage Online with the pre-game show at 7:20.
