The Portage Terriers host the Neepawa tonight in MJHL hockey at the PCU Centre.

The Terriers handed Neepawa a 7-4 loss at their Teddy Bear Toss night just over a week ago and a 2-1 loss on November 4th. The Terriers are coming off a 4-1 win over the Winnipeg Blues on Friday night. The Terrier penalty kill has been important to their success this season and they lead the league in short-handed goals with 7.

After the game on Friday Terrier forward Ryan Sokoloski said it was their speed on the PK that creates chances. "We are a fast team and we get pucks in and pressure their defense. They panic early so that is a key part in it."

The Natives won just 2 games in November, once over the Blues and another over OCN, so they will be looking to pick up some early wins in December.

Puck drop is tonight at 6:30 p.m.
