The Portage Terriers are riding a 13 game winning streak coming into a busy long weekend at the PCU Centre. They will play 3 games at home over 4 days, starting tonight with the Waywayseecappo Wolverines. The Terriers haven't lost since falling in a shootout on January 3rd to the second place Steinbach Pistons. Portage has had success at home this season, putting up a 24-1 record. Their only loss at home came back on November 18th to Winkler.

Terrier forward Shawn Bowles says they enjoy playing at the PCU Centre.

"[It's] good getting to do your usual routine during the day, and you don't have to worry about getting on a bus and driving for 3 hours."

The line of Brad and Shawn Bowles with Nick Henry has been heating up over the past few games. Brad has 21 pts in his last 6 games, Shawn has 26 pts in 8 games, and Nick has 14 pts in his last 5. The Terrier power play was 4 for 10 this past weekend, but their penalty kill struggled against Neepawa giving up 4 goals.

Terrier Assistant Coach Paul Harland knows they will need to work hard against Waywayseecappo.

"It's nice that they are all at home... Wayway is a hard working team...Dauphin will obviously be out for a little bit of payback after we went into their rink and beat them quite handily. They are gonna come out with a lot of energy...The Virden game will be a tough match as well. They have been playing well lately, they haven't been giving up very many goals"

Here is a breakdown of the three matchups:
