The Portage Terriers picked up their second win in a row last night when they beat the host Estevan Bruins 3-2.

Portage started the game with some of the best chances and were able to get on the board first. With just over a minute left in the period Chase Brakel sent Adam Wowryk on a 2 on 1 where he sniped a shot high short side.

In the second Shawn Bowles was ejected from the game because of a hit from behind. His twin brother Brad Bowles picked up the slack and banged home a loose puck minutes later in front of the net on the power play. Chase Faulkner and Nick Henry had the assists.

Estevan would finally get on the board in the third when Owen LeClare knocked home a rebound from Nathan Park. Brad Bowles regained the two goal lead for the Terriers when he tucked home a wrap around.

The Bruins would sneak one under Park before the end of the third but it wasn't enough as the Terriers hung on for their second win of the tournament. Nathan Park stopped 32 of 34.

Portage plays again on Tuesday against the West Kelowna Warriors.
