The Portage Terriers are in Manitoba Junior Hockey League action tonight at the PCU Centre.

The Dogs host the Waywayseecapo Wolverines, after defeating them 9-0 Sunday night in Portage. Terriers' GM and Head Coach Blake Spiller expects a different type of game tonight.

"You never know. I thought they were okay early, their team, (Sunday night) and then it just seemed we got that one and they kept going in for us. I'm sure they'll bring a little bit more tonight, so we'll just have to make sure we get off to a better start."

The Terriers have a bit of a home stand right now, as they're only on the road once in their next 5 games. Spiller talks about the importance of this stretch.

"Every team likes to play at home, and with the tightness -- Steinbach's won 7 or 8 in a row -- and Winkler's right there. We want to keep getting better day by day, but at the same time, if we can make some hay here and solidify that top spot, it obviously helps going into the playoffs."

The Terriers and Wayway go at 7:30 at the PCU Centre.
