The Portage Terriers are in MJHL action tonight, as they head to Winkler to face the Flyers.

The Terriers and Flyers are 1-1 this regular season, with the Terriers edging the Flyers 3-2 in their last meeting December 4th. Terriers' rookie forward Nick Henry gives his thoughts on tonight's match.

"We're going to have to play really good in our own zone. Get pucks out and worry about or own zone, then go out and worry about the offense, because we're going to have to score goals as they're a good team. We're in tough, we're 1-1 against them this year, and hopefully without Stewey (Dean Stewart) Orr we'll get out of there with a win."

The Terriers remain in first place with 57 points, while the Flyers are now tied with Steinbach at 50. Terriers' forward Chase Brakel says they'll need to play strong defense to stop Winkler's quick attack.

"We're going to have to play strong in our defensive zone. They're a pretty good team, they can score goals on us -- especially on the rush -- so we just have to stick to our defensive zone game-plan and then go hard on the offense. It should work for us."

The Terriers are coming off a big win over Selkirk, the Flyers are fresh off a 4-2 loss to Dauphin. They face off at 7:30 in Winkler and tonight's game can be heard on CFRY radio, or at Portageonline.com, with the Pre-game Show starting at 7:20 with Cody Buhler and Aaron Wilgosh.
