The Portage Terriers have bulked up their blue line. The Dogs have acquired the MJHL rights to defenseman Jordan Thomson from the Notre Dame Hounds of the SJHL, for the rights of defenseman Caleb Boman.

Thomson spent 4 seasons in the WHL, most recently helping the Wheat Kings win the league championship. The 20-year-old, 5’11", 192-pound defenseman from Wawanesa has retired from major junior hockey, but is considering playing for the Terriers.
