The PCI were eliminated from the Winnipeg Women's High School Hockey League playoffs today. They fell 4-3 to the CJS Olympiens at the PCU Centre, in Game two of their best-of-3 semi final.

Saints' Maegan Inman scored first in this one, but their lead was short lived, as CJS tied the game moments later.

The Saints controlled the play for most of the second, but despite outshooting their opponents, CJS scored the only goal in the frame to take the lead.

The Saints' determination paid off when Maddie Shwaluk tied the game at two halfway through the 3rd. After a few more PCI chances, the powerhouse Olympiens were able to slide in two more to retake the lead. The Saints managed to climb within one when Bailey Grantham scored with the goalie pulled, but they couldn't force overtime in the remaining seconds.

Saints' graduating forward Katie McCartney played just 1 season for the club, and says it was an amazing experience.

"It was awesome. I was so welcomed by every body, and to be in division 1 and come into the final four, it was such an accomplishment for every body. I'm just so proud of everyone, couldn't wish for a better senior year."

Saints' graduating defenseman Dara Maly played 4 seasons, and is sad to see it come to an end.

"It's kind of bitter sweet. I'm sad it's over, but I'm glad I had the experience. The coaches were great to me, and I just had a great 4 years here."
