The Portage Collegiate Institute Saints face another do-or-die situation tonight.

They're in Winnipeg for game two of their Winnipeg Women's High School Hockey League's best-of-three semifinal series with Garden City, after dropping game one of the series 4-3 to the Gophers in Portage Monday night.

"We took the day off (yesterday) to get away from the rink and refocus, and get back to our positive way of thinking," says Jo-Anne Clark-Gillespie, Saints head coach. "We know the series isn't over and if we can play the game we know we can, we'll be alright."

The Saints required all three games to defeat Fort Richmond in their opening series, winning game three 4-1 in the third and final period. Clark-Gillespie feels confident if they play the way they can for a full 60-minutes they'll come away with the victory.

"The last series was tough because we really couldn't play our game, and it's really hard when you basically have to shut down one player to win a game," says Clark-Gillespie. "We totally got away from what we do well, and we just showed it in the third period (Monday). So we need to get back to being a little more aggressive on our forecheck, and not giving them a lot of time and space. Then when we're set up in their zone we need to be patient and get our offence going the way we'd like to."

Puck drop is 3 p.m. in Winnipeg.
