The Portage Collegiate Institute (PCI) Saints are on the road tonight for Zone 4 High School fastpitch. They visit the Sanford Sabres tonight in La Salle.

They picked up a win in their first game of the year Monday night when they hammered Northlands Parkway 10-0 at Rotary Republic Park.

"We did have a little rust in our first time through the batting order as it was a lot of the girls' first time outside, and first bats of the year," says head coach Cam Asham. "By the second time through the order, we made some adjustments and the girls had a lot better at-bats."

The Saints did the bulk of their scoring in the first and third innings in Monday's game which Asham looks to improve on.

"We just want to keep getting better in every part of the game. That's what we'll continue to talk about, and that's what we'll continue to work on. You can always improve a little bit on every part of your game."

Today's game starts 4:15 p.m. La Salle
