The PCI Saints lost in a shootout to Shaftesbury Titans today in Winnipeg Women's High School Hockey.

The loss makes it 4 in a row for Portage, but the brightside is they we're able to steal a point in the loss. The Saints only had 10 skaters for the match, putting them on the ropes from the start. They were able to keep up with Shaftesbury though, as the score was tied at 2 at the end of regulation. Saints' Katie McCartney and Bailey Grantham netted their regulation goals.

The 5 minute overtime period solved nothing, so they set up for the shootout. It took 12 shooters to finally reach a decision, the Saints were able to net one thanks to Maddie Schwaluk, but Titans snuck two buy Saints' netminder Morgan Klassen for the win.

The Saints are back at it Monday when they host Dakota.
