PCI has some teams on the basketball court tonight.

In West Winnipeg Athletic Conference Tier 2 junior varsity the PCI Trojans visit the Westwood Warriors. The Trojans have been struggling this season, and are 2-5 so far. They won their last match over Stonewall, while the Warriors have lost their last 2. Trojans' Head Coach Darin Arnold wants to see a complete performance from his club.

"Pretty much do the same thing. That first half we played against Stonewall was probably the best half of basketball we've played all season. We were playing pretty good defense -- and we were moving the ball -- pretty much shredding their zone. So if we want to get two win this week we're going to have to do the same thing, but except for the full game this time instead of just half."

The Trojans and Warriors tip off at 6:15 p.m. in Winnipeg.

The PCI Saints are also in WWAC Tier 2 junior varsity action.

They're in Winnipeg to face John Taylor, who sit right behind Portage at 2-4. Portage is .500 right now with a 3-3 record, and would jump into a 3 way tie for second with a win. Saints' Head Coach Dave McLeod talks how the team's really come together.

"They're a great group of girls, and they're all there for each other. It doesn't matter to any one of them who scores, or who makes the defensive play, they just want to work together as a team -- they want to win -- and they want to have fun. It's been that way right from the start, there's no me-me-me players on this team, so it's been great."

That game is scheduled for 5 at John Taylor.
