Both Central Plains Capitals midget clubs are on the road this weekend.

The boys are in Kenora this weekend for back-to-back AAA Midget Hockey League games with the Thistles. Head Coach Brad Gnidziejko says it's a big weekend for them to bounce back after a rough loss to the Wild earlier in the week.

"Do we have what it takes to compete with every team in every game, and that's a challenge. So I think everyone's looking forward to getting there and to see what we're made of."

The Caps and Thistles go at 7 p.m. tonight, and 2:30 tomorrow.

The Female Midget Capitals are in Thompson this weekend to face Norman in Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League action. The Caps last played exactly a week ago when they beat Interlake 10-2 at the BDO Centre. Norman's 1-10 this year 2 points back of the 2-4-2 Capitals, so 2 wins would get the Caps right back into the race.

They won Friday night 2-1, they lost Saturday afternoon.
