Day two of the Accurate Dorwin Junior Championships wrapped up Tuesday at the Portage Golf Club.

Glenboro's Zach Wytinck holds the lead after 2 days with a 140, after shooting 71 the first day and a 69 on the second. 15-year-old Owen Gillespie's the only representative from the Portage Golf Club. He finished day two with an 81, which brought him to 165 so far. Gillespie wasn't thrilled with his opening days of competition.

"There's a lot of good guys out here. I'm going to have to work really hard to get into a better place than I am in now."

Gillespie's set to tee off at 9:36 a.m. Wednesday, at Bel Acres Golf and Country club for the 3rd day of play. He's never played Bel Acres before and is looking forward to the opportunity.

"That's good, then I won't know how to over think it, that'll be a good way to look at it. If I keep my driver straight then I'll have a good score."

Portage Golf Club's CPGA Club Pro Brad Young says it was a great time to showcase the course.

"Yeah, it's a provincial event and anytime you get that it -- obviously -- it gives our course the exposure that it's nice to have. Especially with our course being as good of a shape as it's in."

The leaders tee off at 11:04.
