The Plap City Rollers are holding an information night today at Tornado's for their new Junior Derby program.

Jennifer Sandney, A.K.A. Eddy Nigma,  of the Plap City Rollers says everyone is welcome to come by and find out more.

"We're having our 2nd junior roller derby information night for parents and kids. It's kind of a little informal get together at Tornado's and parents can bring their kids or come by themselves and just ask any questions or concerns they might have about our new junior derby program, and just get more information."

Sandney says roller derby is a lot of fun and explains the new junior program.

"It is a lot of fun. The kids get to meet other kids, they're going to get out on the track and learn some skating, falling, positioning, blocking and as they get older and more experienced they can work into some light hitting as well just like the senior leagues."

The Rollers will be at Tornado's at 6:30 tonight answering any questions and Sandney adds the coaches in charge of the junior program will be there as well if you'd like to meet and chat with them.
