It's now a best of three series in the South Eastern Manitoba Hockey League championship final.

Portage Islanders head to Notre Dame tonight, tied 2-all.

The Isles' Eric Delong thinks the series could go to seven games.

"They're a hardworking team, and we're right there with them on that," he says, "You can see it's really evenly matched, so I would hope we can get it in six, but I would not be surprised if it went the distance."

Meanwhile, the Hawks' Brody Chabbert feels his team has to play the right way to grab the series lead.

"We like to work hard, like to get on their D", he says, "Just play physical, play the way we've been playing, be smart, hard on pucks. I think we'll lay it all on the ice, and go from there."

Tonight's game has an 8 o'clock start. Game 6 is in Portage on Sunday, with puck drop at 7:45.
