The PCI Trojans look to get back above .500 today in the Manitoba High School Field Lacrosse League.

They're in Winnipeg to face Miles Mac, after coming off a 4-3 loss to first place Garden City Tuesday night. Trojans' Midfielder Tyson Dyck says it was a big game for the club despite the loss.

"It says that we can battle back. We came out short, but we were getting really close. Their goalie made a couple of good saves on us, and we just couldn't quite pull it off. But we battled back really good and it was a good game."

Trojans' Defender Brandon Rouier outlines their strategy going into today's game.

"Just playing good defense -- don't let them get very many shots -- and get some good offense going with some good passing around."

Rouier says a big reason they can compete with the top teams is their goalie Riley Sveistrup.

"I'd say he's probably one of the best in the league. He's good at running the ball, which is good for the team. He can get the ball up, makes some big saves at some big times, and he just keeps us in the games."

The Trojans and Buckeyes go at 3:45 p.m.
