Both PCI hockey clubs are on the ice today in Portage la Prairie.

The Saints are up first, they host Miles Macdonell at 3:30. The Buckeyes are still searching for their first win of the season, but have been a part of 5 games that needed extra time. The Saints beat Kildonan East 12-nothing Monday night, and Head Coach Jo-Anne Clark-Gillespie expects a tougher game tonight.

"Miles Mac always has a strong program and we expect them to come out hard. I'm sure after these close losses that they'll be pretty hungry for a win, so I'm anticipating that it'll be a little bit more of a competitive challenge."

That game is at the BDO Centre at 3:30.

The Trojans are on the ice later this evening. They host Northlands Parkway at the PCU Centre. The Trojans are 3-5 this year and are tied with 3 other teams for 5th place, including Northlands Parkway. PCI fell 2-1 in their last meeting with the Nighthawks, and Head Coach Chris DeLong expects another tight game.

"They had really strong goaltending, and really nice positional play, but we were right with them the whole game. I'm really expecting with our strong goaltending and our good work ethic, and with a generous dose of discipline, we'll give them all the can handle this time."

That game goes at 7:45 at the PCU Centre.
