Two Portage Terriers are up for CJHL Yearly Awards. Terriers' rookie Nick Henry has a shot at the CJHL's Rookie of the Year, while goaltender Nathan Park's up for the Goalie of the Year award.

Henry, a Portage native, finished the season with 26 goals and 35 assists in 50 games played. 1 year ago he was watching the Terriers win the MJHL Championship, along with the RBC Cup in his hometown, now he's helping out any way he can on the top line. Henry finished the playoffs with 8 goals and 6 assists, and third on the team below Brad Bowles and Jeremy Leipsic. Henry's really grown over the course of the season, and now looks like a 2 year vet on the ice. Other nominations for Rookie of the Year include: Cale Makar of the Brooks Bandits (AJHL), Chilliwack Chiefs’ Kohen Olischefski (BCHL), Georgetown Raiders’ Jack Jacome (OJHL) and Charles Levesque of the Hawkesbury Hawks (CCHL).

Nathan Park was stellar through the entire 2015/16 season.

Nathan Park played 46 games during the regular season, finishing with a 38-7-3 record, a 1.92 GAA and a .922 save per cent. He also finished the year with the most shutouts at 7. Park went 12-1 though this year's MJHL playoffs, recording 3 shutouts along the way, two in the final series against Steinbach. He's had a lot of help from the players in front of him this season, but with amazing reflexes and an incredible ability to find the puck, he's shown why he deserves the nomination. Other nominations for Goalie of the Year are: Matthew Murray of the Spruce Grove Saints (AJHL), the Penticton Vees' Zach Driscoll (BCHL), Andrew Masters of the Georgetown Raiders (OJHL) and Weyburn Redwings' Jack Burgart (SJHL).
