Nick Henry is on the move in the WHL. The former Portage Terrier and Portage la Prairie resident was dealt along with Jake Leschyshyn from the Regina Pats to the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Henry says with the trade, a number of feelings come up.

"It comes with a few mixed emotions," says Henry. "It's been an awesome ride here for two and a half years in Regina and I can't thank them enough for everything. With the Pats rebuilding I think this is a smart move by them to get some assets for the future and for us to move on to a contender and go after a championship."

The 19-year old Henry is originally from Portage and last year went on a Memorial Cup run with the Pats where they eventually were defeated in the finals by the Acadie-Bathurst Titans. He also suited up for his first NHL game earlier this season when he dressed for the Colorado Avalanche for an exhibition matchup with the Vegas Golden Knights.

Henry has been having a great year so far, notching 15 goals and 25 assists in only 25 games so far, good enough for seventh in league scoring. Henry and Leschyshyn will make their Hurricanes' debut tonight against the Swift Current Broncos.
