It's trade deadline day in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

"We need to be down to 23 players on our roster or less by 8 p.m. tonight," says Terriers' assistant coach Paul Harland. "We're looking at different scenarios as far as what's out there for us to add to our team, and we're obviously pretty young now, so we're entertaining all other stuff going around the league and if there's an offer that is attractive to us we'll consider it. If it will make our team younger and better we'll have to entertain it and make a decision."

As we've seen in recent years trade deadline day can be nothing more than a day depending on if you're a buying team or a selling team.

"We pretty much decided that we're going young," admits Harland. "We're a young team, and we've got a lot of talent. So if there's an opportunity to add some grit or a veteran presence in guys that have been in the league but aren't 20-year-olds, we may do that or we may add a 20-year-old too. It's going to depend on what the asking price is and what we want to get in return."

The Terriers next game is tomorrow when they visit Winnipeg.
