Bobby McNair of Carman is in a tie for second place after day one of the Nott Autocorp Provincial Men's Amateur Golf Championship.

McNair was even par 72 Monday at the Minnewasta golf course in Morden and trails Allan McDonald of Breezy Bend by two shots.

Defending champion Devon Schade of Elmhurst was 73.

Five members of Minnewasta are in the field.

Josh Neufeld was 73, Spencer Norrie and Rylan Price were 76, Kelby Friesen was 77 and Matt Victor was 91.

Morden's Tyson Ehnes, who plays out of Lorette was 74.

Kevin Graham of Miami was 80.

Riley Unger of Plum Coulee, who plays out of Southwood, was 82.

Chad Orchard of Miami was 87 while Terrace Abbott-Unrau of Winkler was 96.

The low 60 and ties after today's second round will make the cut for the final 36 holes on Wednesday and Thursday.
