Portage la Prairie's Lindsey Jordan is this year's Portage Credit Union Ladies Open Champion.

Jordan finished tied for first with Morden's Karen Foster, and a playoff was needed to determine the winner. The playoff hole was number 1 at the Portage Golf Course, with Jordan coming out on top.

Jordan's won the tournament multiple times in the past and gives her thoughts on taking the top spot today.

Jordan and Foster shake hands after the playoff hole

"It feels great. It's been a couple of years since I won it. Maybe didn't have the greatest game, but it was good enough. I actually played pretty well in the playoffs, I can't really complain about making par on this hole. So I'm pretty pleased with it."

Jordan finished with an 86 overall, and a par on the playoff hole. She gives her thoughts on her day on the course.

"I started on 13, which was a great hole to start on. Our front 9 I struggled a little bit, just some unfortunate doubles and stuff like that, couldn't get stuff going. But I guess it was good enough in the end."

Morden's Karen Foster finished second with an 86, and Swan Rivers Marni Zamzow finished 3rd with 87.
