The Portage Terriers host the Dauphin Kings tonight in MJHL hockey at the PCU Centre.

The Dogs are coming off a 6-3 win over Winnipeg Wednesday night on the road, and they're 3-1-1 so far in 2017. Forward Ryan Sokoloski knows tonight's an important game.

"We really need those two points, so I can really see it being a fast-paced, hard game. We just have to come out flying and make sure we get those two points."

Terriers' head coach Blake Spiller says the Kings' roster isn't that experienced, but they're still a good club.

"They're a young club that made moves at the deadline to get even younger, so they'll be hungry to come in and win. We've said all along it's wide open, and whoever gets into the top eight will have a chance to win the league."

They've faced off four times this season with the Terriers coming out on top 3 times, once in a overtime. Tonight's game goes at 6:30pm at the PCU Centre.
