In West Winnipeg Athletic Conference Tier 2 Junior Varsity basketball, PCI welcomes a couple of teams tonight.

The JV Saints host Churchill, and look to build off their recent 63-26 win over Elmwood. Saints' Head Coach Dave McLeod says when the girls play as a team, they can be very successful.

"The Grade 10's have came in and led the way. Whether they're all friends off the court, when we hit the court, we're all friends. We all get along, we're not selfish, we play as a team, we win as a team and lose as a team."

The JV Trojans host Shaftesbury, after losing their last four. The Trojans' most recent loss came after dropping a 16 point lead to Elmwood in the fourth quarter. Trojans' Head Coach Darin Arnold says consistency's been an issue all season.

"It's the same old story and they (the Trojans) just can't figure it out in their head. They'll play even, or better, than everyone else we've played for 30 minutes, then one thing happens and they just lose their focus and lose their minds. Sometimes they can dig themselves out, but most of the time they can't."

The Saints go first at 5. The Trojans follow at 6:30.
