The Portage Islanders host the Notre Dame Hawks tonight in South Eastern Manitoba Hockey League action tonight.

The Islanders have beat Notre Dame twice this season so far, and forward Jeremy Brooks says the Hawks aren't going to want to lose another.

"I think they're going to be wanting some revenge. I think they're going to be coming out hard and determined because they have a point to prove. I don't think they really want to lose 3 to us, so we're going to have to be ready for that and keep playing the game we do against them to come out with another win."

The Islanders are also holding a fundraiser tonight for Braden Pettinger. Brooks explains.

"We're kind of hoping since it's around the holiday's maybe a couple more people can come out. What we're going to do is donate tour portion of the 50-50 to Braden through his Go Fund Me page. Anyone that wants to make any other donations we will also take those."

The Islanders and Hawks are at the PCU Centre for 8 p.m.
