The Portage Islanders look to steer out of their three-game losing skid tonight in Portage la Prairie. They host Warren in the South Eastern Manitoba Hockey League.

The Islanders lost their last two meeting in extra-time, and have came away with 20 of a possible 24 points so far this season. Defenceman Jeremy Brooks says they can't take a night off tonight if they want to get the two points.

"Warren has been good lately," says Brooks. "They're a tough team that likes to get physical. We need to make sure we bring out best to get a big two points there because we have Notre Dame coming in here to close out the weekend."

The Islanders and Warren face off tonight at 8. Notre Dame is in town Sunday.
