The PCI Saints and Trojans were on the road for West Winnipeg Athletic Conference junior varsity volleyball.

The JV Trojans fell in 4 sets to Vincent Massey Winnipeg. The Saints were victorious on their trip to Vincent Massey, winning 3 sets to 1.

The JV Trojans next game is Wednesday, the Saints go Tuesday.

In Zone 4 high school volleyball, the Westpark Royals' varsity boys lost on home court. They were leading 2-sets-to-0, but Elm Creek found their form and won the next 3. Royals' Head Coach Merrill Friesen says there's no reason for the boys to hang their heads.

"They pushed back hard and Elm Creek picked up their game and that's why they won 3, 4, and 5, not because we fell apart or choked. It's a loss, but it's a character showing of what these guys are made out of."

Westpark's varsity boys and girls are back at it Tuesday.
